Review: Macbook Air →
A well thought out review on Macworld.

The Five Whys →
So this is apparently a problem-solving method which involves asking “Why?” until you get to the root cause of the problem. It really just seems to me like how 5 year olds behave. (via kottke)

Stowaway Cat →
A little cat packed itself into its owners suitcase, survived a flight, and ended up getting taken to the wrong home. I’m so glad he made it home again. :) (via ginette)

Alison Jackson's Fake Paparazzi Photos →
There’s Bill Gates dancing with his iPod, Marilyn Monroe masturbating, Brad Pitt shaving Angelina Jolie’s legs and so on. My favourite is the one of Prince William who’s just gotten “KING” scrawled on his chest in lipstick. (via kottke)

Aroma of Chocolate Chip Cookies Prompts Splurging... →
So why then was there such a huge turnover rate of tenants in the shops directly opposite Famous Amos in Wisma Atria? And I seem to recall running right past the FA stand since I wanted to resist buying the cookies. The plan might just have backfired. (via yumsugar)

The Word Chefs Can't Resist: Confit →
There are few things that I love more than an extremely well done confit of duck legs, but it’s true - almost everything is described as a confit when it’s really not. This seems even more relevant as I was just testing out a cod fish confit dish today.

RIP Jean-Claude Vrinat →
Vrinat, owner of Taillevant - what may be one of the world’s best restaurant’s - has passed away. It’s an awful loss to the culinary world. (via serious eats)

Angry Planet →
I don’t know what to make of how 6 out of the 10 world’s deadliest natural disasters occurred in China (resulting in at least 3.5 million deaths) and yet the Chinese are still everywhere. Well, I suppose if you’ve got 1 billion people, 3.5 million becomes a rather small percentage.

Stackable CityCars →
Engineers at MIT have come up with a new smart car that’s now stackable for better storage. This is supposed to help alleviate parking issues in urban areas, and I suppose it works well for a rental service. I can’t help but wonder though - when people start to buy these things, how the hell do you get yours out if it’s stacked under another 50?
